He began his career as a child prodigy. Here he performs the Andante from Goltermann’s Concerto No. 2 in d minor, Op. 30, with an unnamed pianist:

He was the father of Thorvald Nin, composer Joaquín Nin-Culmell, and writer Anaïs Nin. Here is his Suite Española recorded by cellist Yvonne Timoianu and pianist Alexander Preda:
