Jeremy Montagu (1927-2020)

 

We aspire to Jeremy Montagu’s standards of excellence, his prolific scholarly output, his generosity in sharing information, and his dedication to furthering human knowledge of the history and development of musical instruments.

His was truly a life well lived.

We are grateful to him for inspiring and guiding us in the creation of an online museum about cellos.

The Cello Museum was dedicated to Jeremy Montagu on what would have been his 93rd birthday, 27 December 2020.
